Approach
Other Way was founded to deliver clean, well-thought through technical worktreams.
The idea is to tread a deliberate line between leveraging established best practices from a range of industries, and challenging the accepted norms in each of them.
The approach is simple in its intent, but requires a deep understanding of the complex technical details in order to appropriately strip back and simplify the development work and associated communication overheads.
Background
My career has taken me through fast-moving consumer product environments, regulated medical device development, internal engineering teams and consultancy roles.
I’ve designed and engineered products for highly regulated fields, built teams and capabilities, worked with large global product companies, and founded my own businesses.
That breadth gives me a practical view of product development: how to borrow useful methods from different industries, avoid unnecessary process, and bring clearer judgement to complex engineering programmes.

Novel dry powder inhaler for AstraZeneca
I led the device development stream of this project for the first 3 years of its development, taking it up to first pilot tool release.
Generic device development for Teva
Leading the engineering team from initial reverse-engineering and IP analysis, through to pilot tooling release.
Variable dose drug delivery platform
Sitting on the core team / steering committee, which was responsible for guiding the project through the mid-late stages of device and formulation development.

Advising on technical strategy to move from validated prototype into initial manufacturing at low volumes.

Feasibility assessment and end to end program and budget planning for the full combination product development.

We work on a consulting basis in two ways
Ongoing advisory
We sit alongside your management team or engineering team and offer continual steering and due diligence.
We help manage both internal and external workstreams, which can significantly de-risk outsourced work packages or specialist engineering activities.
Project review
We lead a due diligence exercise spanning the project, technical or both aspects in combination.
These can be as short as a single day or can be a multi-week engagement depending on the scale and complexity.
